Fresco: Your Destination for Fresh and Flavorful Meals in San Marcos

Hands down, this place is a must-try if you’re craving something fresher and tastier than your usual Chipotle-style spot! I was in San Marcos for a little retail therapy and searched for healthy dinner options—and I’m so glad I found this place! The service? Super fast and friendly. The food? Absolutely delicious—every bite was packed with flavor. And the passion fruit with Tajín... pure perfection! I ordered the double protein bowl, and it was incredibly generous for the price—I couldn’t even finish it all and had to take the rest home. Honestly, I’d happily make the drive from Austin just to enjoy this again. It’s that good!

Once you try this place for the first time you’ll be hooked! The food is delicious and they have the sweetest staff. The portion size is very filling and the ingredients are always fresh. My favorite bowl is the El Cubano and my hubbys favorite bowl is the double protein grain bowl. Give it a try, I promise you won’t be disappointed. The reviews speak for themselves!

This place has some good options for vegans and vegetarians. Healthy and nutritious diet. A must visit if you’re in and around San Marcos.

Fresh, healthy food choices to choose your own bowl options or order off the set bowl menu. Imagine a Chipotle, only with much better ingredients and flavors. Putting it over the top is the super clean space (indoor and outdoor seating) and some of the kindest staff and service you'll find. I had the Bobcat Bowl and they added lime and cilantro on top. Awesome. Really great spot for a clean, fresh, and fast nosh. I would come here often if there was one in Austin. Well done, Fresco team!

Staff here are rude. I’ve gone here multiple times and counting because it’s my favorite restaurant in San Marcos, diet friendly! Best tasting food I’ve ever tried in regards of salad bowls. Though staff clearly seem forced to put on a smile and give attitude when you take too long to choose your items when making a bowl. Other than that an amazing spot!

We visited Fresco on a Saturday and had such a great experience! The staff was extraordinarily friendly and made us feel right at home. Our two boys were free that day, which was a wonderful surprise and made it even more family-friendly. The portions were very generous, and everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. The seating area was clean, comfortable, and had a nice, welcoming atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!

I loved this place. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. And the food and drinks are amazing. The food was very tasty and the aguas frescas are delicious. (My recommendation is Pineapple basel)

Great place! Kids are free on Saturdays. Lots of vegetarian options like salad base, brussels sprouts, tofu, chickpeas, mushrooms, black beans, falafel, and masa croutons. It was a nice day so we got to sit on the patio. I also tried all the Aguas Frescas flavors and couldn't pick a favorite. We'll be back next time we are in San Marcos.
